內(nèi)容摘要:
Many biological and geological problems can be modeled as transport in porous media, e.g., gas and oil extraction from petroleum reservoirs and drug delivery to cancer sites. Moreover, the media could be poroelastic and transport is subdiffusive. In this talk, we present results from our on-going efforts for development of efficient and robust numerical solvers for time-fractional convection-diffusion problems and (linear and nonlinear) poroelasticity problems. We pay special attention to positivity-preserving, local mass conservation, free of Poisson-locking, and positivity.

劉江國,,美國科羅拉多州立大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)系教授,,博士生導(dǎo)師,。2001年獲南卡羅來納大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)博士學(xué)位,,2005年加入科羅拉多州立大學(xué),,現(xiàn)任SCI期刊Journal of Computational and Applied Mathematics的Associate Editor,。主要研究方向?yàn)槎嗫捉橘|(zhì)中輸運(yùn)問題的高效數(shù)值方法,,藥物傳遞的計(jì)算模擬,,已在SIAM Journal on Scientific Computing, SIAM Journal on Numerical Analysis, ACS Applied Nano Materials等學(xué)術(shù)期刊發(fā)表論文60余篇,,主持多項(xiàng)美國國家自然科學(xué)基金。
